Accommodation
The camp will be 7 nights night full board accommodation.
There are 14 rooms available at the fencing centre. They are a good size, en-suite with 3 or 4 single beds and come with a TV and free wireless internet.
The cost of the camp is based on 3 or 4 people sharing a room. Please let the organisers know on the booking form or by email if you have a preference for roommates as the room allocations will be worked out prior to arrival.
This year we also have a choice of six hotels in and around Tauber, most of which are located in the centre of the town, within walking distance of the fencing centre. The cost will depend on which hotel you chose and the type of hotel room required. All of them are excellent and friendly, well accustomed to hosting fencers. For a complete change of scenery, you can also stay in a hotel in the delightful village of Dittingheim, just outside Tauber (from which a coach transfer will be provided daily). Fencing Centre Room & Restaurant
Another option this year is the ‘day training rate’ & ‘day non-training rate’. This is for people who want to come on the camp but arrange their own accommodation (perhaps at a cottage, campsite or locally with friends). The 'day training rate' allows fencers to turn up at 9am every morning and take a full part in the camp, just as a regular camper, as well as making full use of the facilities at the fencing centre. Lunch at the centre is included but not an evening meal. The 'day non-training rate' is exactly the same but does not allow for involvement in structured training with coaches. However, you would still be welcome to take part in any free fencing sessions or to make use of the centre’s facilities. This would be perfect for the parent of a young fencer attending the camp to come along and join in the Haverstock Training Camp experience.
